Carrot Media Ltd is looking to appoint a lead developer to manage its small team of technical staff. The successful candidate will have at least 3 - 4 years experience in developing online web applications. The directors are looking for a natural leader who can manage the technical development process for the company’s clients.
Over the last 3 years Carrot Media has built its own suite of software components which has allowed the company to handle some substantial web projects. Web 2.0 technologies have been embraced and a developer who can help develop the core software components and provide a technical lead for the company is required.
Carrot Media Ltd is expanding rapidly and, although it is not essential, the directors would like to appoint someone with the skills to develop into the role of technical director to create a long term lasting relationship.
A more exciting aspect of the role is to help Carrot Media create our own web applications which can be developed into sub brands of the company.
Technical Skills Required:
- PHP/MySQL
- Web 2.0 Technologies
- CSS/XHTML
- Project Management
- Client Management
- Linux Web Server Management (Not Essential)
- Good sense of humor
